Like for many other trade fairs, one of the most prominent African Beauty events – Beauty West Africa – will now be taking place from 2nd – 4th February 2021 at The Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

After consulting with industry experts and stakeholders, while taking into account both business and safety considerations, the organisers of Beauty West Africa have taken the very difficult decision to postpone Beauty West Africa from November 2020 until February 2021.

Safety is of paramount importance and was the main consideration in coming to this decision. The organisers of Beauty West Africa therefore came to the decision to implementing a series of practices that have been recommended globally, not only by the WHO, but also in line with the global framework for the re-opening of exhibitions.
Measures will range from changes to the technical running of the exhibition to more visible measures onsite, such as providing free face masks and hand sanitisers, widening all aisles to ensure social distancing, implementing a rigorous cleaning schedule of all areas and spacing out registration areas and other places where visitors are likely to cluster.
Regular updates have been promised over the coming months, to keep everyone involved fully aware of any further developments.
