Year after year the constant activity of Beautycare Brazil brings new participation records of Brazilian Hair and Beauty companies to the most important international exhibitions. The exponential growth of opportunities to meet new international partners generate a significant impact on business.

In 2023 the number of companies supported by Beautycare Brazil reached 161 (30% more than in 2022). The Internationalization Project for the Brazilian Cosmetics, Toiletries, and Perfumery Industry, – promoted through a partnership between ABIHPEC (Brazilian Association of the Cosmetics, Perfumery and Personal Hygiene Industry) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion) – closed the year 2023 reporting a total of US$138 million in international business deals closed in 124 global markets. Among all the participants, 121 companies achieved at least one new export deal, securing a 21% growth in the exporter’s base.
To generate business opportunities Beautycare Brazil organized 9 international business fairs and one commercial mission, as well as 6 qualification webinars and workshops about diverse markets, plus 10 meetings with participants to prepare them for commercial actions.
The significant increase in the number of supported companies determined a record number of participants in all events held by the project, counting as well on the extensive and relevant support of Brazilian Embassies and Consulates.

Beautycare Brazil’s calendar of events for the year 2024 is therefore even richer than in the past. We already witnessed impressive participation at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna (Italy, March 21st-24th), where 44 Brazilian companies exhibited finished products and accessories.
Only the first event of a comprehensive calendar with confirmed presence in the two main shows dedicated to all the HPPC (Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics) sector’s value chain in Europe, and one event in Africa: in-cosmetics Global (France, April 16th-18th), with 17 ingredient manufacturers, as well as clinical test and laboratory research service providers); and Cosmetista (Morocco, May 11th-14th).

“In 2024 we will face the challenge of expanding the achieved figures and results, by directing all our efforts to continue to support companies from all Brazilian regions, with different sizes and exporting maturities, and to strengthen as well our institutional partnerships and revise our operational strategies in the international market, in order to consolidate the Beautycare Brazil Sector Project as the most relevant Support Program available to Brazilian companies in the HPPC sector and related products and services”, said Mrs Gueisa Silvério, international business manager at ABIHPEC.
