China Beauty Expo 2021: Business as Usual – Well, Almost!

Despite some travel restrictions still being upheld in China, the imminent Shanghai Beauty Fair is expecting a significant number of exhibitors and visitors.

The 26th edition of the China Beauty Expo is ready to kick off from May 12th – 14th 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Covering an area of 230,000 square metres, the 3-day event is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors. There are three the core themes of the show – cosmetics, professional beauty, and supply chain – and 3200+ international and domestic companies from over 40 countries and regions are expected to showcase their latest products and innovations.
Over 50 concurrent events ranging from conferences, matching-making, competitions, round table discussions, live streaming programs, and many more professional activities will keep the audiences engaged.
Pan Qiusheng, Chairman and CEO of Shanghai Jahwa, said: “CBE is an annual event for the entire industry, and its importance on a global scale is self-evident. For many years, Shanghai Jahwa has heavily invested in resources and actively participated in the exhibition. Many gratifying results have been achieved as a result .”

Despite some travel restrictions still being in place, international pavilion organizers have found ways to get their country brands onto the show floor, knowing the importance of this event. This year CBE Shanghai will see the return of country pavilions from Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and region pavilions from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The exhibition is enriched by the launch of new themes, revealing industry trends and working as a guide into the future.
This year saw the creation of many new zones:
Popping Zone – CBE’s “Popping Zone,” located within Hall E7, focuses on “trendy and emerging” brands, will introduce some new players, setting up a product incubation area. The “Popping Zone” will bring in top brands of the emerging market. At the same time, it will help brands to break out through digitalization, as well as actively embrace trends of the young generation.

Fragrance Zone – “Fragrance Zone” in Hall W2 will gather international high-end brands like Bvlgari, Versace, Anna Sui, Coach; Niche brands like 4711, Clean, Tous, Trussarci, Masaki; As well as popular brands Boitown & Reclassifed; and salon fragrance brand Barrio.

Oral Care Zone – During the pandemic era, oral health, being an important part of general health management, has attracted much more attention. The “Oral Care Zone” at Hall W3, welcomes leading brands LMZ, Pien Tze Huang, RINOWS, Dentist, YIBAO, etc., to bring oral beauty to the show.

Supplement Zone – “Supplement Zone” will be set up inside Hall E3, focusing on health supplements, gathering quality brands, import agents and OEM/ODM enterprises. Renhe, SIRIO, Kakaso, NIMI and other well-known brands will appear at the expo.

China Beauty Supply
As a major sourcing hub for cosmetics supplies worldwide, China Beauty Expo has dedicated a vast amount of resources to ensure all demands are met, with close to half of the venue devoted to supplying chain companies. Decision-makers of purchasing, product development, R&D, etc. will be able to browse through over 1300 international and domestic suppliers in choosing the best products for their company.
