Due to the continuing health emergency, the 4th edition of Cosmobeauty Barcelona, scheduled from April 10th – 12th 2021, has been postponed. New dates are due to be published soon.
According to the organizers, this decision was unavoidable to due to circumstances beyond their control – down primarily to the large flow of human traffic involved in staging a trade fair, a type of gathering which is still effectively prohibited by Spanish law. Therefore, the decision was taken in order to guarantee that the event would go ahead at a time when the health and safety criteria for exhibitors, visitors and workers involved in its development could more easily be assured.
Cosmobeauty Barcelona to be divided into two specialized events
As a consequence of the long pandemic, hair and beauty trade fairs have been involved in an evolution process: they need to change, learn how to specialize and choose their targets. It’s evolution that can succeed only by accepting and taking advantage of the new reality that the digital world offers.
Cosmobeauty Barcelona represents an outstanding event in the world of beauty and has taken into account and faced up to the transformations that are needed in society’s new normal. The organizers have therefore divided the event into two fairs, each offering an exclusive focus on specific branches of our industry. These two exclusive and distinct events with dedicated management will allow participants to attend more effectively and efficiently, offering better chances to interact between exhibitors and professional visitors.
The two events will be:
Cosmobeauty Barcelona Hairdressing that includes:
Hairdressing, Nails, Make-up, Barbershop, Eyelashes, Hair Clinics and Hair and Barbering Products
Cosmobeauty Barcelona Aesthetic, that includes:
Aesthetics, Aesthetic Medicine, Spa, Healthy Life, Alternative Therapies, Tattoo, Wellness, Microblading, Micropigmentation and Cosmetics
The celebration of the two separate events will offer a greater exclusivity and professional impact on each sector, with better chances to showcase professionals and exhibitors who will benefit from the uniqueness and customization that each sector offers.
The most appropriate dates will be chosen for each event to answer the needs of each one of the sectors. This new strategy will also allow the exploration of a digital transformation plan for a hybrid fair model where the face-to-face and the virtual can be combined, opening the fair to a virtual community with a greater audience and media impact.
