This time It has just been announced that the Cosmoprof North America event in Las Vegas is now rescheduled to take place from June 27th – 29th 2021.
Following on from their revelation that the Cosmoprof Bologna Worldwide show is to be postponed until next year, the organisers of BolognaFiere together with the Professional Beauty Association have now confirmed that the 18th edition of Cosmoprof North America – scheduled for this September – will now be taking place from June 27th -29th 2021.
“We have been actively monitoring ongoing developments regarding this global health emergency and have decided that rescheduling the show to 2021 is necessary to ensure the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, and partners,” says Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof SpA. “The well-being of the Cosmoprof community remains our top priority as we eagerly await the opportunity to connect the beauty industry face-to-face again.”
This is the latest in a long list of Beauty Fairs to be cancelled or rescheduled. As EsteticaExport.com has extensively reported, the Autumn ‘programme of events’ has become so overcrowded that many leaders in our industry are becoming more and more convinced that further rescheduling will undoubtedly ensue, what with transportation difficulties and exhibitors’ and visitors’ lack of confidence in the prospect of moving around the world during a situation that is so far from clear-cut. Cosmoprof Bologna has, however, stood out as one of the most determined in rescheduling until 2021, when supposedly the global health situation will be under control.
“Our commitment remains to providing a show environment that is both productive and safe; postponing will allow us to meet our community’s expectations,” says Steve Sleeper, Executive Director of the Professional Beauty Association. “We are thankful for the patience and overwhelming support we have received from our exhibitors, attendees, and partners in navigating this unprecedented situation.”
Following the example of WeCosmoprof (online from June 4 to 6th 2020), in the coming months, Cosmoprof North America will be working on launching a virtual trade show to connect current exhibitors with buyers, distributors, retailers, and press from the Cosmoprof community to encourage networking and business opportunities.
