With the event taking place from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th March 2024, next year’s Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the largest global event in the hair & beauty sector, will mark an overhaul of the 2024 trade fair calendar.
The 55th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will see some fundamental changes in relation to when the exhibition will be taking place, with all the pavilions opening simultaneously from Thursday 21 March. Cosmopack, dedicated to the supply chain, and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, which hosts companies and retail operators for the perfumery and cosmetics sector, will be operational for three days ending on Saturday, March 23rd.
Meanwhile, the professional Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon will take place for four days ending on Sunday, March 24.
All initiatives and projects associated with Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024 will be adapted in accordance with the new opening dates, with the rich calendar of events dedicated to both exhibitors and visitors alike continuing until Sunday evening.
“With the new scheduling we want to meet the new needs of the market, following the business methods and activity flows of the operators,” declares Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere. “Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the world’s reference event for the entire cosmetics industry, and it is therefore in our interest to support this sector, monitoring the transformations taking place, in Italy and internationally, to continue to support companies and professionals from all over the world who have been following Cosmoprof for 55 years as a strategic appointment for their business”.
“The revision of the dates of the next edition is the natural consequence of the constant dialogue with our exhibitors and operators, and is a choice aimed at further promoting B2B at the fair”, explains Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. “The market shows that not only international stakeholders have changed their approach to visiting trade fairs, with optimization of presence on weekdays, but also Italian insiders and professional operators are asking to anticipate the business moment and commercial relations with suppliers and partners on Thursdays and Fridays. The simultaneous opening of all the pavilions responds to the need to follow the new market logic and the requests of the operators. The decision to open all the pavilions from Thursday will facilitate the owners of beauty centres and salons also interested in the news of the retail and private label world. Our goal is to optimize the presence of professionals on all days of the event, with more representative flows of all types of users”.
