There was a feeling of joy and a sense that our business life really is returning to normal at the Press conference at Teatro Giorgio Gaber in Milano on 31st March: the presentation of the upcoming edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna.

The 53rd edition of the most celebrated hair & beauty fair (Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna) is scheduled from April 28th – May 2nd 2022 in Bologna. Renato Ancorotti President of Cosmetica Italia – the Italian personal care association announced: “We return to Bologna with great enthusiasm; ready to seize on the numerous opportunities that only an in-person event like Cosmoprof can offer. Our industry has never stopped; on the contrary, it demonstrated how much hair and beauty are an essential part of daily life

Despite earlier complications and uncertainty, the organisers have announced that they can confirm the previous years’ numbers – over 2,700 companies from 70 countries, organised across more than 30 pavilions. There will be 26 country pavilions, with small- and medium-sized companies ready to present the best our industry has to offer from Belgium, Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Mongolia, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, and the USA.
Apart from the difficulties still experienced by operators from China and Taiwan due to Covid restrictions still in force, and from Russia and Ukraine for obvious reasons, Cosmoprof expects 30% of exhibitors to be attending for the first time, or returning to Bologna after a few years’ absence, with many expressing how impressed they are by the event’s ability to renew itself and adapt to new business requirements.
Especially significant for the exhibitors is the fact that Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has already received confirmation from more than 90 countries.

COSMOPACK
A more and more important role is the one played year after year by Cosmopack. The transformation of the cosmetics industry begins with the supply chain. Cosmopack is the only fair that hosts all sectors of the supply chain – contract manufacturing and private labels, process and packaging machinery, primary and secondary packaging, applicators, ingredients, as well as raw materials.
