“2011 has really been an exceptional year for our Group – says President Davide Bollati – Davines Group’s presence in the international markets keeps growing in a global scenario in continuous evolution. The coherent and courageous choices we have made are now appreciated by the markets. This is possible thanks to the commitment of more than 700 collaborators that work every day to support the journey we have started becoming B Corp and also Benefit Company. We believe that the action of each one of us must have a positive impact on other people and the planet we live in”.
Certified B Group Corporations
Davines Group’s commitment to environmental issues is well known and dates far back. Their latest achievement is the foundation of a group of over 30 leading Certified B Corporations across four continents, a new coalition seeking to improve the sustainability standards of the beauty industry by creating the B Corp Beauty Coalition. The coalition’s mission is to enable collaboration and exchange between companies; identify and share better practices, implement improvement actions and publish their outcomes; help beauty customers more easily navigate the category, and influence the hair and beauty industry to trigger broader changes which can ultimately improve its social and environmental footprint. In brief, the coalition’s vision is to deliver ‘beauty for good’.
