Rescheduling updates from France and Spain – with still some optimism for this Autumn, but others confirming postponements until next year.
Uncertainty is the most precise word to describe the period we are living through, with Exhibitions ever more sensitive to unpredictability in the near future. As regards Beauty Fairs, we can say that those scheduled in the Spring have all been postponed, either to the Autumn or, more cautiously, until 2021. On the other hand, those which were originally planned for Autumn 2020 still doing their best to stick to the schedule in the hope that the situation will improve enough for such large gatherings of people to go ahead. Whichever way the situation might develop, there is no doubt that health issues will become an important part of how trade fairs are organized in the future. We’ll just have to get used to the fact that they’re going to change dramatically for the foreseeable future.
The BS Congress: Postponed until 2021
The evolution of the pandemic and the latest measures taken by the government have obliged the organisers to postpone the third edition of the BS CONGRESS – initially scheduled for May 17 and 18, 2020 – until May 30 and 31, 2021, while keeping the same venue, the Centre International de Deauville, France.
Building on the success of the first editions (Monaco in 2018 – Deauville in 2019), this premium event will maintain the two-day format.
The themes of the conferences and meetings with the experts will provide solutions to continue the dynamics of the hairdressing and beauty sectors, facilitating projects and building the future of the various players.
The event will bring together around fifty brands and targeted visitors, including key players and decision-makers in the hairdressing & beauty sectors.
Nearly 50 brand experts (hairdressing and beauty cosmetics, furniture, equipment, services) as well as many high-level speakers are expected to discuss common issues and share strategic business challenges.

COSMOBEAUTY BARCELONA: Postponed Until April 10,11 &12 2021
Another casualty of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) in Spain has been the 4th edition of COSMOBEAUTY Barcelona.
As in many other countries, the Spanish Ministry of Health has ordered the rescheduling all events involving a large number of people. Furthermore, postponing the event is an exceptional measure in order to assure that the celebration of the 4th edition of COSMOBEAUTY to 2021 can be carried out with full health and safety guarantees for exhibitors, as well as for visitors and all staff involved in the creation of the event.
The Cosmobeauty organisers have chosen to move the Fair to 2021 during the same period, feeling the Autumn 2020 still holds too many risks of disruption.
