After 15 months without any major exhibitions or shows, the whole hair and beauty industry is eagerly awaiting the return to meeting in person: an activity that represents a fundamental part of French life and an unreplaceable need for the international community.

After so many changes and postponements, this time we believe it’s finally going to happen! MCB by Beauté Sélection is all ready for the off at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, from September 4th-6th.
Even if the dimensions will be a little smaller than usual and the number of foreign visitors will no doubt be fewer, everyone concerned is more than happy to see the reopening of an event that sit at the very heart of the French beauty business.

For its 2021 edition, MCB by Beauté Sélection will be organized around 6 themes: Hair Cosmetics, White Label & Packaging, Services & Furniture, Nails & Make-Up, Men’s Care & Beard and Store / Shopping.
The programme also includes masterclasses, workshops, fashion shows, conferences and round tables, competitions, new collections, and original performances, to name but some.
One of the main attractions will be the 4 stages, offering a chance to discover some truly exceptional events:

360° Stage: A stage opened at an angle of 360 °, presenting international trends as well as French creativity and know-how.

ProBrand Stage: Entirely devoted to technical workshops and demonstrations for and by the brands present.

Main Stage: More than 12 hours of top hairdressing parades are offered by the most prestigious brands in the sector. Visitors will be able to discover the new collections of Vitality’s, Delorme, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Obarbershop, Eleven, Intercoiffure, Raphaël Perrier, Beata Bourillon and many more.

Conferences: A space reserved for conferences and round tables with targeted themes: development of business, the crisis and new opportunities, private labels and personalized packaging, international trends and innovations.

Highlights Not to Be Missed
In the absence of the traditional world championships, this year a different competition has been organised by Raphael Perrier in agreement with the UNEC and the WTO. On the Sunday, 200 hairdressing candidates will compete for a “Hair Artist Award” prize and on Monday 200 apprentices will take up the challenge for “Best Apprentice”. Participants will compete to win a trip to Los Angeles by joining the artistic team of Coiffeur en France (best hairdresser competition) or a place on the French hairdressing team to participate in the next 2022 world championships (best apprentice competition).

“Emergent Talent” in partnership with Estetica will present 30 minute performances by 8 international talents in which they will unveil their creative trends on the 360 ​​° Stage of MCB by Beauté Sélection. An exciting performance that will be presented by 4 Professional Mentors: Sandrine Ruiz, Pascal Lombardo, Loris Hug and Agnes Soronellas.

Hairbeauty 365
This edition of MCB by Beauté Selection will also offer a completely newly organised online support called Hairbeauty 365, an internet space designed to inform, facilitate meetings and collaboration among the international players of the health and beauty industry throughout the year and, in particular, between physical events.
Hair beauty 365 will provide business people with high value contents supporting their corporate development and technical training.
