Indonesia has more than 33,000 cosmetic products registered under Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM RI). In the Beauty & Personal Care market, 15,8% of total revenue will be regenerated through online sales by 2022.

The Indonesian Government is committed to encouraging the local cosmetics industry to move forward, and increase the ability to supply raw materials. The industry players are optimistic because, with the growing enterprises, e-commerce sales, high demand for beauty products and brand acquisition of local products, the future looks bright.
