Lisap has Officially Acquired Parisienne Italy

Following the economic trend of aggregation of brands, the new HD Holding, made by the two Italian Companies specialized in high added value productions, constitutes one of the most important European realities for professional haircare in terms of volumes and know-how.

Lisap, an historic Italian company based in Milan and specialising in professional hair products, has recently concluded the acquisition of Parisienne Italia, a pioneer of aerosol production which sells hair and body care products to the professional channel, as well as to the mass markets.
Controlling 75% of Parisienne, Lisap wants to create an industrial centre specialising in high value-added products. The aim is to become the leading player in Europe in terms of volumes and know-how in the production of aerosols for the professional channel, as well as one of the main players in the production of hair dyes.
The merging of these two historic Italian companies – Lisa founded in 1952 and Parisienne in 1955 – aims to increase the penetration of the proprietary brands – among which Lisap, Diapason, Allwaves, Black , NiaMh and Rebeel – in Italy and abroad, where the two companies are already present in over 100 markets. The development synergy between the two distribution networks will be paramount for further development, especially through the support of the branches that Lisap has in Germany, Spain, Malaysia, Australia and the United States.

These are intended to be the first steps towards creating a holding which aims to reach turnover of €65 Million by the end of 2022. The two brands will enforce complementary leaderships maintaining and strengthening the value of a 100% Made in Italy production process.
Professional haircare is one of the most prosperous segments of the Italian cosmetics sector which, according to the recent economic survey by Cosmetica Italia, expects a 14.8% increase compared to 2020, while the overall turnover projection of the supply chain at the end of 2021 with a growth, referring to last year, of 10.4%.

This acquisition, which coincides with the generational handover of both companies, is the response to the changed national and international scenario. A pool of advisors made up of Banca Akros, DWF, New Deal Advisors, Titi & Associati and Studio Zoboli accompany the two companies on this path.

Present in 103 countries, it has a headquarters of over 45,000 square metres where, together with the offices, the production, filling and storage of raw materials and first-use packaging – 80% of the energy comes from renewable sources – are concentrated. they employ 120 employees, while there are 70 exclusive agents. Parisienne Italia SpA – Bologna and Altedo (BO)
This historical pioneer company in the production of hair styling products, managed today by the second generation, develops and distributes Hair and Body Care Products for the Large Retail Chains and the professional channel, in addition to the Private Label. The projected turnover for the end of 2021 is 16.5 million euros generated in an equal share between Italy and the 58 foreign markets in which it operates. The two offices in Bologna and Altedo, for a total of 10,000 square meters, concentrate the offices in the first and the production plants in the second employing 65 employees.
