As expected, Far Eastern countries seem ready to take a further step on their journey towards a normal situation. Fairs are opening, despite all the precautions required. Beauty shows will probably get high visitor numbers throughout the Autumn and Winter.

In China, where the post pandemic period has already started, the first post-Covid fairs are opening to the public. We reported about the first Beauty fair that opened: CBE in Shanghai in July 9th-11th(
Now it’s the turn of Texitle fairs to reopen their doors and welcome numerous visitors coming into an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm.

In Shanghai from 23rd to 25th September, the main global event of the industry, Intertextile, attracted 73.500 visitors, a decrease of only 17% compared to the record breaking edition of last year. A very encouraging result considering the still difficult conditions of international air travel that are hindering most events worldwide.

Regarding beauty appointments in other country of the Far East, we are constantly receiving messages from some Fair Organisers that are still confident about opening over the next few months. In Japan, after the encouraging results at CosmeOsaka from September 9th -11th, hopes are high for the more frequented Tokyo edition, postponed until Jan 2021.
We hope there won’t be any further complications and that all the events in the area will be able to follow the example of China, restoring at least a partial return to normal.
Here is a list of the next main appointments for Beauty Events in the Far East that are confirmed as of today. However, we do recommend checking their websites in advance, if you plan to visit any of them.
