As well as celebrating ‘Freedom Day’ on 19th July (today) and the removal of any legally enforceable Covid restrictions across England, the international and UK hair industry can once more look forward to the return of its most significant event this Autumn.
With the UK hairdressing industry now quickly recovering after an unprecedented 18 months of lockdowns and legally enforced restrictions, it comes as no surprise to learn that ‘celebration’ is the word of the moment across England, as all government restrictions are lifted this week and the organisers have confirmed that Salon International will be going ahead from 16th – 18th October 2021 and a long-awaited return to the prestigious ExCel venue in London’s Docklands.
Salon International will provide the ultimate weekend of education, inspiration and innovation – not to mention the chance to catch up with old friends and celebrate a return to normality.
The show will offer a rich mix of shopping and shows, with global hair and beauty brands exhibiting, packed schedules of inspirational education from leading hairdressing names and emerging talent.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy a first look at the work of finalists for HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, as the Gallery returns to showcase some of the UK’s most inspirational hairdressing.
With lots more to be announced, hairdressers are already preparing to immerse themselves in the magic world that makes this industry so exciting and inspirational.
It goes without saying that despite positive progression and general easing of restrictions, health and safety remain the ultimate priority, and the entire event is being carefully planned in accordance with Government guidelines and with the support of experienced, specialist organisers.
