The 10th edition of the In Beauty trade fair is dedicated to Cosmetics, Beauty, Hair, Nails and Make-up. It will return from October 5th – 7th 2024 at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, Lisbon.
In an unprecedented global change, In Beauty is adapting to the needs and expectations of our industry by re-examining how hair & beauty is defined, sold and purchased. The fair has adopted a new business model that provides professionals with maximum value for the product or service they are purchasing.
The Carlos Lopes Pavilion in the heart of Lisbon and with excellent facilities will host the event.
Last year’s edition offered three days of plentiful opportunities to do business, learn and discover the latest innovations. The 9th edition of In Beauty Lisbon presented 50 companies, attracted more than 8,000 visitors and consolidated its status as the country’s premier cosmetics, beauty, make-up, hair and nails events. Organizers are expecting to increase these numbers in 2024.
The In Beauty Academy is one of the fair’s main attractions. It is a forum for knowledge and training, shining a spotlight on the trends that are defining the industry globally. It will bring together more than 2,000 participants over the three-day event, describing itself as a training program that covers a wide range of topics, including make-up, beauty, hair and business.
“The 9th edition of In Beauty exceeded expectations,” comments Amélia Estevão, marketing director at Exponor. “Our commitment to training those who wish to make beauty their career was clearly reflected in the ‘In Beauty Academy’ program and in all the activities we provided. We saw beauty professionals and enthusiasts learn and connect in ways we’ve never witnessed before. We are pleased to continue to share knowledge and provide high-quality training opportunities for this constantly growing sector.”
Fair Theme: Upcycling
The Fair Theme for the 2024 upcoming edition is inspired by sustainability – specifically the recycling of waste material in our industry. The slogan is ‘Not So Trashy’ and refers to upcycling, a full-fledged movement that supports the reuse of waste. From reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills to minimizing the use of natural resources, upcycling continues to inspire brands to think differently about their ingredients and manufacturing processes.
Upcycled ingredients prove that today’s waste is tomorrow’s valuable asset. After all, it’s not that Trashy. These steps are becoming more and more worthwhile as consumers are increasingly paying attention to product ingredients and packaging.
