A recent press conference has revealed that from 5th – 18th October, a new digital tool will enable international companies and operators in the beauty industry to utilise match-making platforms and webinars.

In a a joint-venture offering the entire beauty industry a fantastic chance to meet up online, WeCosmoprof will go live from 5th – 18th October, using an innovative match-making software for companies and buyers. It will be a brand new approach to the online platform, providing extraordinary tools to the beauty industry at a global level. In a first for trade fairs, the Cosmoprof platform joins international key players for the launch of its second edition of the digital event WeCosmoprof, Alibaba.com, Born and Needl will be exclusive partners for the development of the format.

To enrich the program, a calendar of in-depth sessions will feature many of the hair and beauty industry’s main players. Over 100 speakers and companies will participate in the discussions dedicated to industry trends and market evolution of Cosmotalks – The Virtual Series, and in meet-up on the professional channel, Cosmo Virtual Stage.

Thanks to its reputation, built up over 50 years, Cosmoprof has the ability to consolidate the most innovative digital platforms on the market to help create strategic synergies for the growth of the sector.

This year, a commitment by Italian Government organisations and Industry Associations is stronger than ever as is the intent to promote this digital event with a specific investment campaign by ITA – Italian Trade Agency, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Emilia Romagna Region, and with the support of Cosmetica Italia personal care association.

“The Italian Government, aware of the need to resume growth as soon as possible and help companies in this difficult moment, has decided to support this innovative format, – says Repr. Manlio Di Stefano, Italian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation: “Through the Farnesina, we have mandated the ITA – Italian Trade Agency – as part of any 2020 promotional activity, in order to to cover all the costs for almost 100 Italian companies participating in the event. Thus, these companies will be able, despite the travel limitations resulting from the health crisis, to promote their products and meet an international pool of operators. Once again, we are side-by-side with business”.

But the really ground-breaking development is that the format will, for the first time, link the Cosmoprof platform to international marketplaces that can offer exactly what all brands are searching for: a large number of serious buyers from all over the world.
