Dedicated to both the Indian market and visitors from further afield, the Mumbai event will take place from December 7th – 9th 2023 at its usual venue – the city’s Jio World Convention Center.

Organised by Cosmoprof Bologna and Informa Market, Cosmoprof India hosts all sectors of the cosmetics industry – from ingredients to the finished product – bringing together the entire supply chain.
It will follow the success of the 2022 edition which recorded excellent results. It hosted 300 exhibiting companies from 12 countries and 7,500 visitors from 50 countries. The organisers expect further significant growth for 2023. The most remarkable increase will be 36% more new exhibitors compared to 2022, which means around 450 are expected for the December edition. To date, 78% of those already confirmed are national, representing the development of the local industry. At the same time, international participation has increased (19% compared to 2022), thanks to new initiatives by both local and international governments and associations.
The presence of the national pavilions of Italy, Korea and Taiwan has already been confirmed.
The growing demand in India for personal hair & beauty products and fragrances is attracting many international brands that are setting their sights on a share of this gigantic market. Local consumers are increasingly attentive to the quality of products, while thanks to e-commerce they can further refine their choice.
As is usual for Cosmoprof events, Cosmoprof India will be paired with Cosmopack India dedicated to the entire supply chain.
According to current booth reservations, Cosmopack is expected to cover 61% of the total exhibition area, with leading companies in primary and secondary packaging, OEM, ODM, contract manufacturers, machinery, equipment and raw materials.

With these assumptions, the forecast for visitor numbers is over 9,000 (up 20% compared to 2022). Furthermore, to boost the interest of manufacturers and distributors, a buyers’ hospitality programme has been organised. The initiative will host the most prestigious players from India and neighbouring countries, as well as from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Europe – all crucial countries in terms of import/export.

Cosmoprof India

A rich calendar of meetings and seminars will include CosmoTalks and CosmoForum. These will focus on macro-trends, insights and regulations in the beauty sector, involving analysts, experts and KOLs.
Cosmo Onstage will present new treatments and products with demos and live performances with particular attention to the professional channel.
The Cosmoprof and Cosmopack India Awards, in collaboration with international agency BEAUTYSTREAMS, will celebrate cutting-edge products and solutions among the 2023 exhibitors.
The winners will be announced on December 7 during a gala event at the Sahara Star Hotel. For the first time ever, the winners of the Cosmoprof and Cosmopack India Awards will be invited to showcase their products to the largest international beauty community which will gather at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024 next March.
Cosmo W. – Empowering Women – one of Cosmoprof India’s most admired and followed projects – is an initiative involving women’s information classification, whereby industry leaders join forces to make a concrete contribution to the empowerment of women wherever their country of origin may be.

Furthermore, the Cosmoprof India Ambassador project is being promoted on the event’s website and social channels. The Indian Beauty Colors event on December 7 is a fashion show that will recreate the unique story of the evolution of Indian make-up and styling with the use of Chakra colour concepts.
The World Massage Meeting will also be held for the first time in India.
