IFEMA, Spain’s principal trade fair operator, is rescheduling all the spring Exhibitions, while is still hopeful to confirm the autumn shows, like SALÓN LOOK 2020, the essential meeting point for the beauty and aesthetics industry in Spain.
Ahead of the game in terms of preparation to temper the economic effects of Coronavirus, SALÓN LOOK has already set the dates for its 2020 event confirmed to take place from October 16 to 18, 2020 at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid. Salón Look will, as always, offer the largest presentation of innovations and trends in the beauty sector anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula, bringing together the proposals from more than 400 exhibitors and 1,300 national and international brands.
This new scheduling allows the organisers to offer much better integration of the sectors to be represented, ensuring they are positioned in the most appropriate pavilions and therefore showcase the exhibitors to their greatest advantage.
The main area of the exhibition being: Colour Cosmetics (Nails and Make-up); Aesthetics, Micro-pigmentation; Natural Cosmetics; Hairdressing–related brands, also including also the Furniture and Barbering.
On the decision to postpone some Fairs, Julia González, director of the Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle fairs organized by IFEMA commented: Ifema is strictly following advice from Public Health Authorities. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure the health and safety of our visitors and exhibitors; At the moment, we are seeking new dates for the fairs scheduled in March and April, they will be moved later in the year to ensure that events will take place as normal once this crisis has passed.
During these difficult times each of us must assume personal responsibility. Both companies and institutions must row in the same direction to provide solutions and flexible decisions. On this matter, IFEMA fully supports the relevant authorities and remains at their disposal.”
Founded in 1980, IFEMA is a consortium formed by the Community of Madrid, the Madrid City Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Montemadrid Foundation.
