No sooner has the Madrid edition of the show closed its doors, than the 4th edition of Salón Look Santiago is ready for the off – from November 5th -7th 2023 at Espacio Riesco Santiago.
Founded in Chile in 2018, Salón Look Madrid-Santiago is primarily there to provide a meeting and business space where hair & beauty brands, professionals, entrepreneurs and organizations from across Chile and Latin America can meet and interact.
The event is a joint venture between Espacio Riesco and the Madrid Fair Institution, IFEMA, which has already been providing professional trade fairs for the sector in Europe for over 20 years. The Chile event will take place at the Espacio Riesco Events and Convention Centre, where representatives of our industry will have a new opportunity to generate commercial ties.
This year, organizers expect more than 12,000 visitors to the show, which has become the perfect arena for the latest in hair, training, nails, barbering and supplies. The event will bring together industry players from both Latin America and overseas.
“This year we will have the most innovative proposals on the market, with excellent protagonists. We will have three exclusive areas for each sector: in the Expocenter Pavilion, you will meet everyone from hairdressing, manicure, cosmetics, supplies and barbering. Masterclasses, Tournaments and live demonstrations by different experts will be held here,” explains Carolina Ibáñez, director of the exhibition.
First Latin American Nail Competition and Battle of Barbers
Salon Look Santiago will host two important competitions in different area of the beauty business.
Fanny Salinas is CEO of Manicuristas Pro and organizer of the first Latin American nail tournament: “This international competition will bring together talented artists who will demonstrate their technical skills at levels: students, beginners and advanced, will show current trends, such as pastel nails, black vinyl, caramel, crepe pink and baby blue,” she explains.
Another main feature will be the second edition of Battle of Barbers, which consists of four categories and will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, later to compete in a grand final to win the BARBER LOOK 2023 Trophy. “This international level competition brings together the best in the world, so it is a great opportunity to show their creations,” highlights Marco Quintero, coordinator of Barber Look 2023.
