Hairdressers At Heart & Wella Education Support Australian Wildfire Relief Through “Love to the Wild” Fundraiser.

The world of hairdressing has always fostered a sense of giving – both back and forward – on small and large scales. From individual salons cultivating local initiatives and activities to international colossals working on a global level, or in this case both levels coordinating their efforts for a greater cause.

Hairdressers At Heart and Wella Education will be working together in support of fellow Educator Tarra Kruper’s fundraising initiative organised to benefit Australian wildfire relief.
Kruper decided that proceeds from the “Love to the Wild” event, to be held on Sunday, March 1 at the RA Loft (605 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90015),will be poured into the coffers of Wildlife Victoria, an Australian nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting and protecting wildlife through rescue, education and advocacy.

It is common for hairdressing educators often do so much more than just technical training, standing also as role models for more significant aspirations. “It’s so important for us to empower and support our educators to give back,” said Hairdressers at Heart spokesperson Jessica Guastella. “As an industry, we have the capability to incite large scale change in our individual communities, and the world as a whole.”

This event in particular will encompass a Styling Master Class hosted by Kruper and Celebrity Stylist Shaylin Jones from 10am – 1pm, followed by an exclusive Social Hour and Silent Auction from 1pm – 3pm. For the occasion, Hairdressers At Heart will be donating $1000, to be summed with the total proceeds resulting from the event.

“I’ve always been passionate about helping people and animals. When the wildfires broke out, I knew I had to act fast and help,” said Kruper. “These events call on the hairdresser community to support local and global charities while benefiting their careers with top education.
The hands-on Styling Master Class will welcome hairdressers of all levels and focus on building a portfolio brimming with red carpet-worthy styles.

Tickets to the Styling Master Class can be purchased online. All attendees will be invited to join the invitation-only Social Hour + Silent Auction. Attendees can RSVP online.
As additional material support fo this initiative, Wella Professionals is also donating $750 of products to the Silent Auction and RA Loft is offering the venue free of charge for the event.
