Organized by bwnet.hu, the Budapest Hair Show was held for the fifth time in the capital of Hungary, Budapest, on September 28th, 2024.
Alongside Hungarian star hairdressers, international experts also attended: guests had the opportunity to learn and gain inspiration from 25 presenters, while over 200 hairdressers worked backstage to create unforgettable moments on stage at the Budapest Hair Show 2024. Estetica Magazine was present at the show and we witnessed historic moments once again, as the TONI&GUY team arrived in Hungary for the first time, led by International Artistic Director Efi Davies, with the participation of Technical Artistic Director Stuart Matuska!
Budapest Hair Show turns 5 this year
The Budapest Hair Show celebrated its 5th anniversary this year, as it has been supporting the development of Hungarian hairdressers since 2019, providing inspiration and enhancing the prestige of the profession in a brand-neutral way. Since 2023, the event has become a full-day celebration of the hairdressing and barbering industry, and this year, for the first time, it opened its doors to the general public!
The stage was filled with exclusive seminars, masterclasses, look & learn seminars, and spectacular shows, while in the exhibition area, attendees could explore the newest products and services at over 20 brand stands.
The event was opened by Szabolcs Győri, CEO of bwnet.hu and creative director of the Budapest Hair Show. He reflected: “This year, we held one of Europe’s leading independent hairdressing events, the Budapest Hair Show, for the 5th time, and it truly belongs to the entire Hungarian hairdressing community! I am incredibly grateful and proud that we have created such a wonderful and world-class event in Budapest, in the heart of Europe, as a community, inspiring each other!“

Together. In one place. Honoring the profession. The Budapest Hair Show was once a long-cherished dream for Beauty World Net, which came true in 2019, and has since been a resounding success among fans of the hairdressing industry. This year, we welcomed our guests to a new venue, the Eiffel Art Studios in Budapest, with more exhibitors, more spectacular workshops, and a monumental show prepared for them.
More than 900 guests attended the event, taking part in the TONI&GUY seminar, masterclasses, and evening main-stage look&learns, followed by a huge night show. Meanwhile, over 200 professionals worked backstage to bring the dreamed-up productions to life on stage.
