Founded in 1946 by Mario Pettenon under the name “Morgana,” the company transitioned to the Pegorin family after the founder’s passing in 1988. Renamed in honor of Mario Pettenon, this marked the start of extraordinary growth. Today, the Group operates across three main production sites all based in Italy: San Martino di Lupari (PD), the Group’s headquarters, is the core of professional hair treatment production. Sansepolcro (AR), also known as the House of Color, specializes in professional hair dyes, while Cartigliano (VI) focuses on skincare.
Pettenon Cosmetics manages its entire production process in-house, supported by a short supply chain that ensures high-quality standards and sustainability. In 2021, the company became a Benefit Corporation, reaffirming its commitment to ethical business practices and creating value for the environment, local communities, and people.
With 8 brands and a versatile Private Label service for product customization, the Group serves diverse markets through professional salons, consumer retail, and traditional trade channels. In 2023, CEO Luigi Ambrosini joined forces with the Pegorin brothers to steer the company toward greater international expansion, focusing on strengthening its presence in Europe, North America, and emerging markets.
