Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka, the premier B2B beauty event in the Kyushu region, is set to return from 3-5 February 2025 at Marine Messe Fukuoka, hosting approximately 200 exhibitors. This 12th edition promises exciting industry innovations with the launch of two new zones: ‘Fem more’ and ‘Tasty,’ reflecting evolving consumer and industry demands.
Industry Expansion to Meet Market Growth
According to market research, Japan’s cosmetics sector is expected to exceed pre-pandemic levels, reaching JPY 2.6 trillion (USD 17.3 billion) by fiscal year 2024. The haircare market alone is projected to hit JPY 533 billion (USD 3.6 billion), while the femtech segment is poised for a 6.3% growth. In response, Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka is expanding its platform to highlight these booming categories.
When asked about expectations for 2025, Miyuki Oida, Show Director of Beautyworld Japan, replied: ” All four Beautyworld Japan trade fairs will further expand the range of visitors’ professionalism and grow to become a trade fair where all information related to the beauty and health industries are gathered. The next edition of Beautyworld Japan Tokyo, which is organised from 28 – 30 April 2025, will feature two new zones for beauty care clinics and fitness-related products such as yoga and Pilates. “Clinic Care” zone will feature cosmetics, supplements, and services for cosmetic clinics; meanwhile, “Fitness & Beauty” zone will display fitness products and supplements such as yoga and Pilates. Up until now, salon-related visitors are dominated over 70% of the total visitors in all Beautyworld Japan. Year 2025 will be the groundwork for expansion as a business platform for introducing more exhibitors and products. You come to see the new era of Beautyworld Japan fairs”.
New Zones for Emerging Trends
The newly introduced ‘Fem more’ zone will feature cutting-edge products in femcare and femtech, while the ‘Tasty’ zone will showcase healthy foods, spices, ingredients, and supplements aimed at enhancing beauty from within. These additions complement existing zones covering cosmetics, beauty equipment, haircare, nails, eyelashes, and skincare.
Spotlight on Fresh Talent
The event’s ‘NEXT’ area will spotlight over 20 emerging brands making their Fukuoka debut, fostering new business opportunities and industry connections. This initiative underscores the fair’s role as a launchpad for innovation and market entry.
Knowledge at the Core: Seminars and Learning
Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka 2025 will host 20 seminars across four venues, covering diverse topics like aesthetics, haircare, salon management, and femcare from a medical perspective. New seminar highlights include “Three Strategies for Becoming the Salon of Choice.” Attendees can expect actionable insights and the latest industry techniques.
