A Record-Breaking Edition for K-Beauty’s Flagship Event

Cosmobeauty Seoul 2025 has once again confirmed its status as South Korea’s leading beauty trade show, welcoming over 53,700 attendees and hosting a record 1,903 B2B meetings, resulting in an astounding $310 million in export discussions. The show ran from May 28 to 30 at COEX in Seoul and expanded to its largest-ever scale, covering Hall A, Hall E, and the lobby.

The event attracted 12,000 international visitors and buyers, including industry giants such as Sephora, Unilever, Guardian, Mercado Libre, and Mumuso, reinforcing the growing global interest in K-Beauty innovation and partnerships.

Global Connections and Business Milestones

Cosmobeauty Seoul 2025 was not only a showcase of product innovation but a true business platform. Three key MOUs worth $500,000 were signed on-site, further emphasising the event’s role in facilitating concrete global partnerships. With 441 companies from 19 countries exhibiting across 605 booths, the event saw so much interest that the organisers had to expand the floor space to accommodate demand from 400 additional brands on the waiting list.

Spotlight on Innovation: The Cosmo Beauty Awards

A major highlight of this year’s show was the Cosmo Beauty Seoul Awards ‘Rookie of the Year’, where 14 outstanding products were recognised based on expert evaluations and data. Top honours went to Plie, NANOBIOSYSTEM, and BOTANICSENS Inc., who received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award. Award-winning products were showcased in a special experience zone that drew considerable interest from both buyers and consumers.

Education, Entertainment, and Community

Running alongside the exhibition, the **2025 One Asia Cosmetics Regulatory Innovation Forum**, hosted by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, offered valuable insights into cross-border compliance. A wide range of expert seminars tackled trends and regulations in the global beauty landscape.

The event also featured creative zones including makeup demonstrations by influencers, award experience areas, and interactive games—attracting 700+ global influencers and creators who amplified the energy and reach of the show across digital platforms.

Looking Ahead: Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026

The next edition is already on the calendar: May 27–29, 2026, at COEX Halls A & B1.
