Davines Group Launches Spanish Subsidiary to Strengthen European Presence

After three decades of fruitful collaboration with distributor Beovipel, Davines Group is taking a major step forward in the Spanish professional beauty market. Starting January 2026, the Italian B Corp will operate directly in Spain through its new subsidiary, Davines España—marking a strategic move aimed at consolidating its brand presence and growth in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets.

A New Chapter in Spain

Spain was one of the first international markets embraced by Davines in the 1990s. Now, after 30 years of successful partnership with Beovipel, the company is transitioning to direct management through Davines España. This includes the integration of Beovipel’s experienced 60-person team and its portfolio of over 1,500 professional clients spanning hair salons, spas, and beauty centers.

The new subsidiary will be led by Bruno Lelievre, long-time General Manager of Davines France, who brings over 30 years of industry expertise. The company will also continue to benefit from the contributions of Irene Urbano, daughter of Beovipel’s founder, who will oversee marketing and communications.

Strategic Vision and Market Opportunity

The direct presence in Spain will allow Davines Group to strengthen ties with its professional network, accelerate training and sustainability initiatives, and enhance operational synergies across the Iberian region. The company will manage five education academies across Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and Alicante, reinforcing its commitment to professional excellence.

Spain’s professional haircare market surpassed €520 million in 2024 and continues to grow at an average annual rate of 5%, driven by demand for sustainable, high-value salon services. Davines España positions the group to respond swiftly to these trends and nurture direct relationships with clients and hairstylists.

Leadership and Continuity

While Lelievre will oversee both the French and Spanish operations, skincare brand [comfort zone] will remain under the guidance of Davide Manzoni, General Manager for Skincare Italy and Iberia. Manzoni, a key figure in launching the brand in 1996, will continue expanding its footprint in Spanish spas and wellness centers.

Davide Bollati, President of Davines Group, highlighted the importance of this transition: “The creation of Davines España is a natural evolution of our longstanding relationship with Beovipel. We’re grateful to the Urbano family for their dedication and are proud to welcome a team that has played a vital role in our growth in Spain.”
