Latest Trends and Avant-Garde Sparkle at Cosmoprof Asia 2024

The beauty industry enthusiastically gathered at Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia 2024 to discover an amazing offering of innovative ideas and suggestions for our industry. This record-breaking edition confirms the importance of the event for the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

 

60,975 attendees from 119 countries and regions gathered in Hong Kong from November 12th – 15th for the 27th edition of Cosmoprof Asia 2024, meeting over 2,500 exhibitors from 47 countries and territories, and discovering the latest trends and the most-avant-garde product proposals impacting the Asia-Pacific market.

International stakeholders, 18% of the total visitors, expressed strong interest in the exhibition. Compared to last year’s edition, notable increases in attendance have been recorded from major regions including Africa (+16%), Australasia (+5%), Europe (+7%), the Middle East (+40%), North America (+8%), and South America (+3%).
Asian attendance remained robust, further solidifying Cosmoprof Asia as a premier destination for global buyers and a vital hub for the beauty industry. The participation of 18 group and country pavilions including Australia, California, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan Region, Thailand, Türkiye, and the USA, increased the exhibition offer with the latest international novelties.

Over 600 senior executives and top buyers, mainly from Asia-Pacific, Europe, the USA, and the Middle East attended Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia, took advantage of exclusive B2B matchmaking tools, reinforcing the show’s role as the premier platform for industry leaders.

COSMOPACK ASIA
A highly qualified attendance characterized Cosmopack Asia (November 12th – 14th at AsiaWorld-Expo – AWE), where importers, distributors, brand owners, R&D managers and product developers came across the most innovative offer in ingredients, machinery & equipment, packaging, contract manufacturing, and private label. Cosmoprof Asia (November 13 to 15 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre – HKCEC) gathered distributors, importers, wholesalers, and beauty professionals with an exclusive overview of the latest proposals from K-Beauty and C-Beauty, as well as from all over the Asia-Pacific region.

SPECIAL INITIATIVES
The CosmoTalks roundtable discussions, which drew in over 1,300 participants, covered topics such as consumer behaviour, retail solutions, sustainability, market and product developments, macro trends, and advancements in beauty technology.
Cosmoprof Asia’s dedication to tackling global trends and hot topics is demonstrated by the fact that 70% of the partners facilitating these sessions were from other nations
Cosmo Onstage entertained more than 230 beauty professionals, with peak moments provided by The AHMA Hair Council celebrating CUP of GBA (Hong Kong) HAIR & IMAGE DESIGN COMPETITION 2024, and the NAILPRO® Competitions ASIA-HONG KONG 2024.

Cosmoprof Asia 2024 released the exclusive CosmoTrends Asia Report, curated by BEAUTYSTREAMS, offering insights into the latest trends across the Asia-Pacific region. The report highlighted 5 emerging trends, represented by 20 shortlisted companies from the exhibiting brands.

COSMOPROF AND COSMOPACK AWARDS
With the Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia Awards, Cosmoprof Asia honoured beauty excellence in the region. Under the insightful scrutiny and assessment of a global panel of distinguished experts, KOLs, and business executives, 11 exhibitors received recognition for their inventiveness, creativity, and brand strategy.

“Be Sustainable with Beauty”, the -e-book showcasing shortlisted companies at Cosmopack Asia, served as a guide for buyers and all other stakeholders seeking sustainable solutions within the beauty supply chain.
Cosmoprof Asia hosted the charity project Boutique, the sampling shop featuring 15 selected sponsor companies’ flagship products. All proceeds have been donated to Save the Children Hong Kong.

Save the date for the 2025 edition! After such a successful edition, companies and stakeholders will meet again in Hong Kong next year, from NOVEMBER 11th – 14th 2025.
