A hair and beauty event specifically designed for all beauty professional, this is a unique, immersive experience that combines learning, networking and discovery.
In an atmosphere created specifically to facilitate networking, inspiration and exploration, Beauté Sélection Lyon will return to Lyon Eurexpo from November 24th– 25th, bringing together professionals from the hairdressing, nail, and beauty industries.
The organisers have designed the event for professionals around what they refer to as the Four Universes.
Hairdressing Universe
Professionals will have the opportunity to meet renowned brands and attend conferences, demonstrations, and spectacular shows. This universe will showcase the latest hair trends, innovative techniques and live presentations by trendsetters. The 360 STAGE will be dedicated to professionals, offering inspiring shows and demonstrations, and visitors will have the opportunity to discover Raphaël Perrier, Josué Paisnel and Joris Davoine on stage.
Barbering Universe
A special area will be set for barbering enthusiasts where they can discover the latest brands and participate in the International Barber Trophy competition organized by Men Stories. The competition will showcase the talents of the sector in front of an audience of connoisseurs. Numerous workshops and demonstrations will take place, including, for the first time, a stage dedicated to hairdressing artists and trainers such as Kamal Safar, Pauline la barrière, Winnys and Barber Sandy.
Beauty Universe
In partnership with the CNAIB, this universe welcomes brands and suppliers of aesthetic products, as well as a rich program of conferences on topical themes such as “Train your teams in natural cosmetics to better advise them”, “The 11 intentions of touch,” or “Positive and committed, the management of tomorrow!” A competition open to professionals and trainees will allow participants to demonstrate their know-how. The CNAIB will also hold its General Assembly during the event, strengthening the links between its members and the beauty industry.
Nail Universe
This area offers nail professionals a masterclass program focused on training and professionalization, as well as a selection of renowned brands. Demonstrations will enable visitors to deepen their skills and discover innovative products.
Competitions and Young Talent
This 18th edition of Beauté Sélection Lyon will showcase young talent in the industry through a number of emblematic competitions, designed to reveal and encourage new talent.
The Coiffure UNEC Rhône – Beauté Sélection competition area will feature 3 competition sessions: the UNEC Trophy final, the Coiffure competition developed by UNEC Aura, and the Coiffure UNEC Rhône competition. These competitions will give young professionals the opportunity to shine alongside their peers. In the world of barbering, the International Barber Trophy will bring together enthusiasts for a high-level competition. On the beauty side, a special competition organized by the CNAIB will be aimed at experts and apprentices alike, enabling them to demonstrate their skills live.
Prix Impact
Beauté Sélection, in partnership with L’Éclaireur, is committed to promoting social and environmental responsibility through the Prix Impact. The prize, which will be awarded on Sunday, November 24th, rewards brands and professionals committed to sustainable development and ethical innovation.
It’s also an opportunity for the event to highlight its many initiatives to reduce its environmental footprint, the provision of reusable stands for our exhibitors, and the selection of service providers and partners who share the same values.
