Kazakhstan Takes Centre Stage in Asia

Scheduled to take place from May 30th – June 1st in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the next edition of Central Asia Beauty Expo is approaching and promises to showcase the best in regional and international export opportunities in hair & beauty from across the Central Asian region.

In 2023, Central Asia Beauty Expo, the biggest hair and beauty exhibition in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, hosted 248 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 700 brands. These results doubled the number of exhibitors and halls compared to the previous edition in 2022. In terms of visitors, the fair welcomed 11,282 professional participants (+21% over 2022) from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia and Azerbaijan.

The traditional national pavilions organized by Poland and Korea, were joined by new pavilions representing Iran, Jordan, and Uzbekistan that chose Central Asia Beauty Expo as the first platform to launch national pavilions.

One factor that makes Central Asia a very promising region for exporters and determines the growing success of this event is the absence of large cosmetics manufacturers in Central Asia. This fact becomes an excellent opportunity for companies from other countries and regions to enter the local market. Last year in Almaty visitors had the opportunity to meet 160 manufacturers from all over the world.

Organizers believe that the event will double in size compared to last year. The layout of the event is divided into three main halls dedicated to different sectors:

  • Skin care cosmetics, perfumes and aromas, pharmacy cosmetics and dietary supplements, household chemicals and hygiene products, ECO-cosmetics
  • Professional cosmetics: hair, nail, make-up, lash & brow
  • Cosmetology and aesthetics

350 companies have already confirmed, coming from the USA, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland Korea, China, Iran, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Tunisia, Thailand, the UAE, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

National pavilions representing Poland, Korea Iran, the Russian regions and Uzbekistan have already confirmed, doubling the size of their booths. The number of Italian exhibitors participating has already reached 28, compared to 10 last year.

Organizers have also stressed that the Central Asia Beauty Expo is a meeting place for distributors, dealers, representatives of specialized online stores, supermarkets, eco-shops and pharmacy chains, as well as leading manufacturers from the global hair & beauty industry.

As usual, organizers are providing a Hosted Buyer Program intended to help manufacturers meet 120 top buyers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan and strengthen their positions in the Central Asian market.

Participating in the Central Asia Beauty Expo international exhibition is a unique way to open up new sales horizons in a geographic area still full of undiscovered opportunities.
