The Turkish hair & beauty fair has joined a large international exhibition group, representing a great opportunity for business development in Turkey.
Following on from its success last year, BeautyEurasia is looking forward to the 2023 show, taking place from 15th – 17th June 2023 at Istanbul Expo Center.
The exhibition has recently changed ownership, as the former organizer, Hyve Group, has transferred its operations to ICA Group. With its headquarters in London, ICA Group boasts a wide experience, already organising over 50 exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences in Poland, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. It has its own agencies in the UK, Middle East and China. With this acquisition, ICA is making a further step in its plan to enter the Turkish market, which is considered strategic for the whole Middle East Region.
ICA Group Director, Edward Strachan said, “As ICA Group, we are very pleased and excited to enter the Turkish market as a result of our agreement with Hyve Group. Turkey now constitutes 25% of our portfolio and it is central to our current operations in Central Asia. It also has strategic importance for our development into South-eastern Europe and the Middle East”.
ICA Group Turkey Managing Director, Kemal Ülgen, explains further: “The number of exhibitors and visitors participating in our exhibitions from various countries all around the world sets a new record. We closed the 2022 financial year with a profit of over TRY30 million. This year, we hosted over 2,000 exhibitors and around 150,000 visitors, providing an opportunity for over €2.5Billions’ worth of business volume. Our goal is to further increase the potential of Turkey and contribute to our national economy through the business partnerships and export opportunities our exhibitions provide”.
Thanks to the renewed enthusiasm brought about by the operation, the new organisers are confident that BeautyEurasia will be able to keep growing in the years to come. They will also improve one of the most valued features, the VIP Hosted Buyer Programme, which facilitates business meetings with exhibitors.
