Pettenon Cosmetics: Double Digit Growth Achieved Again

Italian industrial group and one of the most successful international players in the hair & skincare markets, Pettenon Cosmetics, closed 2022 with a turnover of €197 Million, up 10.4% compared to 2021.

Led by brothers Gianni and Federico Pegorin in the roles of President and CEO respectively, Pettenon Cosmetics SpA, repeated its 2022 double-digit growth (10.4%) year-on-year This follows its already exceptional growth of 11% in 2021.
Serving 114 countries worldwide, the group can account for 70% of its total turnover as exports.
“It’s a great result,” commented Federico Pegorin, CEO of Pettenon Cosmetics”. It was achieved thanks to the implementation of two key actions. On the one hand, we have adopted a branding strategy to increase the visibility of our professional haircare brands. On the other hand, we have made continuous investments in our private label division, offering our customers a complete and top-quality service.”

We have continued a strategy of enhancing key brands,” added Afsoon Neginy, Group Chief Operating Officer and Sustainability Director. These include Alama, the only brand distributed in the non-professional channel that is enjoying great success both in Italy and abroad.”

Pettenon Cosmetics success has come with solid foundations that include product innovation, prompt response to the market and great attention to both environmental and social sustainability.

We can consider ourselves proud because we have achieved some important milestones” continued Afsoon Neginy.In 2021, Pettenon Cosmetics became a Benefit Company and we are completing the drafting of our second sustainability report for the year 2022. Our next goal is to obtain B Corporation certification.”

Thanks to the three production sites, each with its own specialization (specific treatments for haircare and beauty, hair colour and skin care products for beauty), Pettenon Cosmetics manages the complete production process.
This guarantees not only the quality and sustainability of its processes but also much faster access to markets. Furthermore, the continuous flow of new products studied in the internal Research and Development laboratories offers a constant contribution in terms of innovation and finally improves the appeal of the brands. That is why Pettenon will keep investing in its R&D.

For 2023 we are working on substantial development projects” added Pegorin. “In fact, we want to continue investing in research and innovation and our private label division.”
