Mindful of the need to prioritize safety at all costs, the Belgium-based hair exhibition has announced its decision on more suitable dates: 10th – 11th October 2021.
Due to the measures currently in place in the fight against the relentless spread of COVID, combined with the uncertainty as to how the situation will develop in the coming months, the organizers have decided to postpone THE HAIR PROJECT until the autumn.
The chosen dates are: Sunday 10th and Monday 11th October 2021, at Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium.
The rescheduling will allow THE HAIR PROJECT to fully play its part in providing a meeting platform for the entire hairdressing community in more favourable circumstances, thus contributing to the long-awaited rebooting of our industry both locally and internationally.
After long periods of salon closures, plus many months when only digital contact has been possible, the hairdressing sector aspires not only to welcome its customers again but also to meet colleagues and suppliers in a professional setting, in full compliance with anti-COVID measures.
This next edition will be a hybrid-style event. The term “hybrid” means that the on-site event in Kortrijk Xpo will be complemented by an interactive digital online platform, in particular, the program will offer chat and video conferences between visitors and exhibitors, live broadcasting of shows and technical workshops, an interactive search engine for obtaining information on exhibitors’ products & news and much more. Participants will be able to access all these features via PC / Mac or by using a smartphone app – a very effective tool for establishing valuable contacts within the hairdressing community, before during and after the event takes place.
