Over 30,000 visitors is the number that testifies to the great success of the 15th edition of Beauté Sélection held in Lyon, France on November 24 and 25.
Salon and Spa workshops have been the game-changers in the program of the Lyonnais fair and the appreciation of the professional and the students for their quality was expressed clear and loud.
Also, the number of exhibitors has significantly increased: from 175 in 2018 Beauté Sélection Lyon 2019 reached 224 companies exhibiting from France and all around the globe, mostly representing the sectors of hairdressing, makeup, nails and spa.
Christophe Gabreau, president of Standing-Events said: “this 2019 edition of Beauté Sélection Lyon has been absolutely satisfying. We have exhibited businesses of a high level. All this was achieved thanks to new empowered contents, redesigned areas, and a magnificent “Espace Homme”, dedicated to men’s beauty that has exceeded our best expectations. I’d like to remember the first edition of the Barbers International Trophy, and the area “Soins, Regard et Spa” realised in cooperation with Les Nouvelles Esthétiques that has always been pretty crowded during the 2 days of the salon.”

An area dedicated to Spa treatments and paying special attention to our well being was proposed with the partnership of Les Nouvelles Esthétiques.
This sector has obtained even greater success than others, for the joy of the exhibitors. The booths were well-designed and organized, welcoming the public in a open and relaxed atmosphere.
This exhibition area was completed by an interesting series of conferences focused on the Universe of Treatments, The beauty of the eye, and the SPA gave a large audience the opportunity to get updated information directly from the top experts.

Displaying the most popular brands for men, enriched and animated by numerous workshops and live demonstrations: The Man Area was a wide and comprehensive window over brands that are the lifeblood of a sector in quick evolution
Barber International Trophy
Salon Beauté Selection has hosted its first international contest for barbers, organised by Man Stories Brand. Sixty contestants divided into two categories: Experienced hairstylists (with more than 3 years on the job) and the Emerging talents (with less than 3 years on the job). The highly qualified jury was composed of Anthony Galifot, Sandrine Favary, Olivier Abat, Cyrille Goluccio and Marc Thibault.
Once again: amazing hair shows
The top-level hair show program met all the audience’s expectations. Technical aspects as well as creativity were on display and welcomed by an enthusiastic public of experts of all ages.

«Mirage» by Raphaël Perrier, «Snatch» with Damien Roux, Maxime Guicheteau and Jordan Lasonneur for Wella, «Double Je», The universe of baroque surrealist updos proposed by L’Institut de formation Graziella Debousse, «Noir Elegance» by l’équipe artistique Coiffeur en France, «Gotam» by Marc Thibault, Anthony Galifot, Cyrille Colluccio and Olivier Abat for Men Stories.

Margaux FOVANNA, 24 , is the winner in the experienced hairdressers category. She is also nominates “Best barber in Europe”.
