Texas-based Farouk Systems is teaming up with LG Household & Healthcare (LG H&H) to revolutionize hair color as we know it.
Research has been ongoing for two years to take the guesswork out of hair color. The CHI and LG H&H Innovation Team were called up in response to Dr. Farouk Shami, Founder and Chairman of Farouk Systems, and his ambitious objective to make hair color formulation easier for salons thanks to precision technology that can read the natural or tinted hair color. LG H&H began work to build a high tech spectroscope capable of reading the clients’ natural or current hair color and then formulate the desired color service.
Then the CHI Color Master App Stylists will even make it possible to show clients what the color will look like on their hair. The Color Master system will be designed to mix over 18,000 formulations and will allow the colorist to tweak the palette with specific additives, making hair color possibilities infinite
