A dedicated observatory, organized by WGSN, to open in Spring 2020.
Beauty Industry’s analysts and critics seem to have a very busy schedule lately, with many research and reports being published to give us all a vision of the near future in a sector that seems poised to evolve rapidly.
One good example we’d like to quote regards the Global trend forecasting agency World’s Global Style Network that announced plans to launch a new beauty forecasting platform in 2020 dedicated exclusively to Korea.
“The Investors” reports that the company decided to launch a separate platform, instead of discussing beauty trends and forecasts in the fashion section of WGSN Insight, in response to increasing demand from the industry.
The Korean version of the platform, tailored according to the needs of South Korean clients, is planned to be available in the spring, later this year.
According to what has been presented, WGSN Beauty will cover the four main components of beauty product design — color, ingredients, packaging, and texture and fragrance.
“WGSN’s in-depth consumer insight across all target demographics will give our clients confidence that they are launching just what the consumer needs,” Carla Buzasi, managing director of WGSN, said in a statement.
WGSN trend specialists are working on the development of this new platform, and especially on identifying the details about macro trends and the major ideas that will impact the beauty industry in the future years.
