Brazilian Beauty Conquering Global Markets

Thanks to the actions of ABIHPEC and Beautycare Brazil, the number of Brazilian beauty companies who export continues to grow year on year.

Brazil is becoming a significant contributor to top international hair and beauty fairs around the world. A large uptick was seen in 2023, when Brazil made a major impact at Cosmoprof Bologna, NYSCC Supplier’s Day in New York, Beautyworld Saudi Arabia, International Cosmetic Fair North and West Africa and Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas.

All this has happened thanks to the diligent work of ABIHPEC and the Beautycare Brazil associations – as Gueisa Silvério, Manager of International Business at ABIHPEC, said in a recent interview with EsteticaExport: “Our aim is to support companies in the whole value chain of the sector, ranging from finished products (that is the main goal of the association) to other products and services, such as ingredients, packaging, services and general accessories. The mission of Beautycare is to leverage the growth of exports of products and services that involve the value chain of the HPPC sector. This project is aimed at encouraging and helping companies that are not yet active in the international market, as well as providing support and support to exporting companies, respecting their individual strategies”.

The next step will be their attendance at MCB by BS Paris (Sept 9th–11th), with Brazilian companies from the CTF (Cosmetics, Toiletry, and Fragrance) sector attending this important French trade fair. The action is coordinated by ABIHPEC in partnership with the Embassy of Brazil in Paris, and is supported by Beautycare Brazil, Personal Care and Cosmetics Industry Internationalization Project, created by ABIHPEC in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

The event will be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with the participation of the following Brazilian companies: Amend Cosméticos, Beox Professional, Brazil Protein, Felps Professional, Italian Hairtech, Mundial Impala, Natura Europa, Nuance Professional, Nutraliss, Prime Pro Extreme, Prohall Professional and Truss Professional.

The occasion will offer participants the chance to consolidate the CTF sector’s image and support the promotion of businesses. Furthermore, an institutional agenda will be accomplished where entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to take part in a closure meeting with the Commercial Promotion sector’s team of the Embassy of Brazil in Paris and will make guided visits to Parisian distribution centres and points of sales.

We are also hoping for a strong Brazilian presence at Beautyistanbul at the end of September and at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai.
